It all started with tuna
It all started with a simple question: Why is it so hard to find great-tasting solid tuna?
Back in 2019, we set out to find an answer. We noticed that most options on the market were either too dry, too flaky, or lacking in flavor. We believed tuna could and should be better. So, we got to work.
We carefully studied what makes for a truly delicious, high-quality tuna, from the texture and cut to the oil and seasoning. After countless tastings and refinements, we created a product that met our standards: premium solid tuna that’s moist, flavorful, and satisfying in every bite.
This was the first product we launched, and it set the foundation for everything that followed. It wasn’t just about tuna; it was about doing food right.

Bringing home to the table
After launching our tuna, we wanted to go one step further. We knew that food is more than just a meal, it’s a connection to home, to tradition, and to the flavors that bring people together. That’s what led us to our next big idea: bringing authentic encebollado soup to the US.
For many, encebollado is more than just a dish. It’s the comfort of a home-cooked meal, the taste of Sunday mornings with family, and a reminder of Ecuador’s rich culinary heritage. We wanted to make sure that no matter where you are, you could enjoy that same experience.
In 2021, we introduced our encebollado soup, made with real, authentic ingredients and the same bold flavors you’d find back home. Convenient, delicious, and true to tradition, it’s our way of keeping the taste of home alive, one bowl at a time.

After bringing the bold flavors of our tuna and encebollado to life, we knew there was still something missing; a snack that truly captured the taste of home. That’s how our plantain chips came to be.
Plantains have been a staple in so many kitchens for generations, sliced and fried to crispy perfection for the perfect balance of natural sweetness and crunch. In 2024, we decided it was time to share this classic with everyone, making it easier than ever to enjoy an authentic and delicious snack anytime, anywhere.
But we didn’t stop there. Now, we also offer sweet plantain chips, bringing out the natural caramelized flavors of ripe plantains for a snack that’s just as crispy but with a hint of sweetness. Whether you prefer the savory crunch of our original plantain chips or the rich, golden sweetness of our new variety, there’s something for everyone to love.
